Is your website setup and ready to offer visually impaired and disabled users the ability to shop online on your website?

Its a good question to ask, because im sure for at least 50% of you who currently trade online, you do not offer much in the way of supporting accessiblity on your websites and limit your own ability to tap into this market and open up your customer base.

There is currently some interesting research that has been conducted by volunteers to the BBC who have been testing websites with different disabilities and show the difficulties being faced. What is more interesting is the personal views on how websites could be improved to help them get more out of websites, which in turn would allow a website owner to get more out of a new user to their website.
