Our Process Print

At LAS Design, we make things as simple for you as possible when it comes to planning, designing and developing your website through to giving you training and your website going live.

The Project Process

We have an 8 step process which involves the following:

  1. Initial Meeting - We meet with you to get to know your business and your proposed online business venture. Your aims, objectives, competitors, branding, design specifications, promotion methods and deliverables are gathered by us.
  2. Quotation and Contract - A detailed contract and investment breakdown is posted and emailed to you within 2-5 days depending on project size.
  3. Requirements Analysis Meeting - Once Contract and Quotation has been signed by you and us, a meeting is held to discuss all requirements of the proposed project, so work can begin. Details of more complex design features and functional and non-functional items are gathered.
  4. Design
    1. Initial Designs - 1 concept design is created, with 2 revision stages for your feedback
    2. Design Implementation - Confirmed design is implemented onto the internet
  5. Development - all functional items of the website are implemented, to make the website work the way you need.
  6. Training - A training session is provided, with a free user guide (paper copy and pdf copy) on how to manage your website.
  7. Go-Live - Your website goes live and starts to work for your business.
  8. Support - We provide free technical support for your new website for 60 days. Following on from that a maintenance contract can be arranged if necessary.

Projects are normally split into three payments, as follows:

  • Deposit: First payment is third of the total project cost to start the project.
    • This is due within 5 days of signing the contract.
  • Milestone 1: Second payment is paid once agreed milestones have been met.
  • Project Completion: Thrid payment is paid once the project is complete and the website goes live.

Longer Payment Terms - Easy Monthly Payments can be spread over a 6 month period where needed. For full details, please see our terms below.
