The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) develops strategies, guidelines, and resources to help make the Web accessible to people with disabilities. The WAI resources are intended to provide basic information for people who are new to Web accessibility.
At LAS Design we can offer a comprehensive service to ensure your website meets accessibility standards and to the correct and required level.
As stated by the cabinet office:
"The minimum standard of accessibility for all public sector websites is Level Double-A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.6 All new websites must conform to these guidelines from the point of publication."
Below is a list of how we can help you provide an inclusive website:
- Full accessibility audit, priorities one, two and three. Passes, fails, corrections required and time-scale suggestions.
- Cross browser, cross platform, test report.
- Coding analysis, Validation and W3C Standards conformance audit.
- W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines badging.
