Written by L. Streete
Microsoft has released its latest web browser in the shape of Internet Explorer 8. The company's last launch was back in 2006 when IE7 was made available.
The new browser comes equipped with many new features and more importantly for you website owners and developers it provides facilities that allow your cascading style sheets to actually display your web pages in a more truer visual appearance where as in the past IE5, IE6 and IE7, there were many problems which resulted in the common, "IE Hacks", to make web pages work better for your users.

We were recently approached just before Christmas by one of our existing customers, Keep Focus Security Services Ltd, their brief was we want to be very competitive online for a number of key phrases in the security industry and we want to be in the top 10 on the first page of Google for our main key phrases. We were more than happy to help because we love challenge. (2 Votes)
Written by L. Streete

Is your website setup and ready to offer visually impaired and disabled users the ability to shop online on your website?

Its a good question to ask, because im sure for at least 50% of you who currently trade online, you do not offer much in the way of supporting accessiblity on your websites and limit your own ability to tap into this market and open up your customer base.

How to exchange links with another website Print E-mail
(1 Vote)
Written by L. Streete

To help with your online marketing it's key when embarking on a Search Engine Optimisation program to exchange links between websites. A link from one website, A, to another website, B, is almost like a vote in the eyes of search engines.

So you might also start to think "well if thats the case im going to get as many links to my website as possible, because hey thats how presidents and prime minsters win elections, right..?"

Well with exchanging links online this is slightly different. One rule to remeber before you setout on your quest to get hundreads of links, remember quality is better than quantity. For example if you were offered a link exchange from BBC.co.uk or 888.com. You would take the BBc link right? Well the not so obvious answer here is yes i would take the BBC link and run. The reason why you would do this is because the BBC website is a huge website filled with a wealth of pages that spams over a decade. Search Engines have been scanning the BBC website for years and many people have been linking to articles on their website for years and because of this the BBC website ranks very highly and holds a lot of weight with Search Engines.

With more talk of markets worsening, and the UK government talking about pumping up to £500 billion into the economy to bail out banks and other related institutions times seem pretty dier. What will come next or better yet what's going to happen if after all these bailouts, things continue to go downwards?!?

Im not sure about you but where ever theres bad news theres always some good and where ever there seems to be no hope theres opportunity. Its on this note I want to focus your thoughts to making the most out of your website online in these financially worrying times.
